This car is an evolution that began a number of years ago, starting first with a hi-performance American car then a hi-performance truck, both of these vehicles left something to be desired. With the start of the import revolution in speed, and the start of Stereo West Auto Toys' car and truck accessories division. Something new could be accomplished, a small 1.6 L vetec engine could be modified to put all but the most accomplished American race machines to shame and look darn good doing it.

Its low center of gravity is achieved with MAXSPEED coil-overs, TOKICO shocks, SLR SPIDER rims and NITTO 205/40/17 z rated tires. These mods combined with a full complement of DC SPORTS strut braces front and rear, TSUNAMI front end with matching side skirts and GROUND DESIGN rear end, gives this SI the adjustability and looks for the street or strip.

Well that's all fine and good you say. What's so scary about that my fine piece of American muscle could eat its lunch? Whoa big fella! We haven't opened the hood yet. Under the hood is the real scary stuff that began with an AEM cold air NOS no2s, it now sits with a custom fabricated turbo and intercooler. Now who's your daddy?

Along with Mr. Turbo, we need air and fuel. Air is provided through a K&N filter and STR intake manifold. Fuel is provided in mass quantities using a STR fuel rail with plans for the big guy Holley in-tank fuel pump made for turbo or supercharged Hondas. Spark is provided via NOLOGY plug wires and plugs. Exhaust is provided by a DC SPORT header and GREDDY cat-back. The STR cam gears along with some custom computer fine-tuning. If it isn't pretty, it isn't cool, so throw in every goodie STR has to offer and you have a car that will take the show and the race. Keeping track of this monster is a full time job handled by AUTOMETER gauges including boost, air/fuel and a 5" MONSTER tach with shift light.

Now we need to get this car under control and you know stock don't cut it. So add an AEM complete brake kit and cool pads. And for the turns, add in the steering wheel of the gods from MOMO plus cool stuff for your feet from MOMO. Are ya comfy yet? How about MOMO seats and floor mats! Put your hand on the S2000 shift knob and MATRIX short-shifter and you get the idea. This car has it all, power, comfort and wait, don't forget the safety goodies like the PILOT race harness, MATRIX fire extinguisher, PIAA hid headlight conversions and Altezza style tails. This car is the complete package.
